Dani’s Interview

What does limitless living mean for you?

I have always lived my life to the fullest and believe the best is yet to come. Life is too short to stress about anything that doesn’t make you happy.

I truly believe there are no limits – EVER. We have the power to make anything possible. I believe my positive thinking and energy exude good vibes out to the universe bringing good things back to me.

But it’s not just luck – it’s a lot of hard work, a lot of love and genuine interest in people and doing good.
If you open yourself to possibility, then you’ll take the opportunity the moment comes – this applies to many different areas of life.

What has been your biggest challenge in life where you were faced with limitation in some way? What supported you to move through it?

I was challenged to bike ride across Australia and I only ever rode 10kms around our lake. These Ride To Conquer Cancer events (a total of 6 which I completed 3) were 200kms each and we needed to raise $2500 for each ride.

I had 21⁄2 months to train for my first ever 200km bike ride. I rode on a tethered trainer at night while the kids were sleeping as I couldn’t get actual “saddle time” outside with my busy schedule – managing a household of 6 people, my business and the general crazy busy life we all lead.
What pushed me through this were the people that have passed away and those that are suffering this deadly disease.

I pedalled harder and stronger for those that needed it the most!
Fundraising was an issue too as I didn’t have many hours in my day to jiggle the tin can at traffic lights or shopping centres. I then started approaching corporate companies that gave me greater amounts in less time.

The icing on the cake was Richard Branson sending me a note of encouragement the day before our first race. He’s my number one inspiration (Jamie Oliver on par with food motivation)

How often do you follow your intuition/gut feel in life? Why?

Always!!! It’s always been my self-belief that gets me through my life choices. I love the quote “You’ve made your bed – now lie in it!” as we all create our own destiny and doors of endless opportunities.

So what is it that you absolutely love to do in life? Can you describe how you feel and the space your in when your doing it?

I adore travelling (the thrill of meeting new people and going to new places) being me, a mother and wife and LOVE LOVE my Dani Stars AKA Team Dani community. It brings me such motivation and satisfaction knowing that I am helping others live their new healthy life !!!

What age would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

32

If you knew that no one would judge you, what would you do differently?

Get a half sleeve done 🙂 I love tattoos especially the Japanese cherry blossom flower.

What do you love most about yourself?

My positive, engaging aura and how well I connect with people. I love walking into a room and speaking to absolutely everyone.
People I meet for the first time tell me they feel they have known me for a lifetime and feel they can share personal stories with me. I love that!

What’s the biggest lie you once believed was true?

That my ideas won’t come true. Most recently when someone told me Richard Branson would never get back to me, a mother of 4 kids, living in Ballarat, Australia. They said there are billions of other people trying to get his attention. Like I said, lucky I stopped listening and believed in my intuition and got the attention of the most recognisable and greatest businessman in the world.

Do you ask questions, or do you just settle for what you know?

I am a curious soul – I feed off information. I’m like a sponge! I’ve never been afraid of the “No” response.

I always tell our kids “if you never ask you will never know;” and “the worst thing they could say is no, so at least you know”

So lets say in this moment you are totally limitless, free and happy. What would you love to do next?

Travel. Travel. Travel. Take our family to experience the world, teach them about cultures, food and history. This world is absolutely amazing and we are so lucky to be here.

A big thank you Jamie for inviting me to share my life with your readers. I hope they enjoy it as much as I loved sharing it
