 Nat’s Interview

What does limitless living mean for you?

Oh I love this. No boundaries, no edges, no boxes – totally living outside the comfort zone but knowing that with every step there is growth and expansion. This is limitless living! Best still, it’s not being bothered by anybody else and totally knowing that I do what I do because I am me and I truly believe with all of my being, this is how I am meant to live this big, beautiful life.

What has been your biggest challenge in life where you were faced with    limitation in some way? What supported you to move through it?

Like all of us, there have been many challenges in life that I’ve had that direction in thinking – it would be easier to give up and comply. But that’s just not me. I’m a rule breaker and a shaker – not in a rebel way but in a stretching the mind way. If I had to define one single moment, I guess the stand out was the diagnosis of my son with Cystic Fibrosis.

I’ll never forget the feeling and innate knowing that my soul purpose in life if nothing else was to step up, be his mum, push boundaries and above all follow my intuition. He is a thriving child with Cystic Fibrosis, free from illness – not because we’re winning it but because we recognise how our thoughts and feelings and beliefs shape who we are. We can focus on illness, and all we’ll ever find is evidence of it. We choose to focus on wellness – it’s much nicer on that side of the paddock AND he is testament to it. He has taught me lessons like nothing else has ever been able to and allowed me to relate this back to helping others and evolving as a practitioner and presenter. That said, my gut feeling has lead me through 10 years as a wellness practitioner, from business right through to personal life. It’s never wrong.

How often do you follow your intuition/gut feel in life? Why?

Every single day without doubt. I live by that guide. It’s never wrong and the more we can tune in, the more it will guide us. I glided along not conscious about the ‘gut feeling’ for such a long time but in more recent years I gained a great sense of awareness around my intuition and got really deliberate about allowing it to guide me and to step out in faith. It’s been an absolute game changer – but what’s more, what previously felt like a real leap and step in faith has now become a real strong force. I don’t question it anymore, I have comfort in knowing it is positively correct. Always.

So what is it that you absolutely love to do in life? Why do you feel this is important for you?

I love to make women’s hormones happier than a Pharrell Williams song! Honestly – changing lives. That is my fuel. I truly and ever so dearly love spreading the happy hormone message, inspiring women to take charge of their own health and wellness, grabbing it by the reigns and taking control. Previously many women faced health issues out of fear – mostly because we didn’t know any better. But to empower women means they can approach health from a place of comfort and knowing – and of course knowledge is power. Making informed decisions is a game changer and nobody should know more about your own needs around wellness than YOU.

What age would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

I don’t even know how old I am. Is this a trick question?

Seriously.

I was once 27 for 3 years in a row. This is a true story. It took a work colleague to ask several questions about my actual birth date for me to work out, I’d lost 3 years! Age is just a number. It’s perfectly irrelevant.

If you knew that no one would judge you, what would you do differently?

Hmmm. Nothing. But ask me this 5 years ago and it would be a whole different ball game! One thing I’ve learnt in the past 3 years is have no limitations. People can judge and really – it doesn’t actually matter!

There’s of course things I’d love to let go of – as a business owner, having those ‘tough’ conversations with staff isn’t always rosey. But it’s nothing I would change, more so something I’ve learnt to always approach from a place of femininity and love. And most of all, it’s also helping others to grow too.

What do you love most about yourself?

I’m determined, driven and highly motivated. I love nothing more than a challenge.

What’s the biggest lie you once believed was true?

That everybody had to love me and align to my vision. That I needed to have everybody onboard for the ride and that everybody would love my message. What a façade! Best quote ever – ‘you can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, but not everybody loves peaches!’

If there was one thing you would no longer need to think about it, what would be?

Tax and finances. It’s the end of the financial year. I hate the systematic stuff. Let me be creative and I’m happier than a pig in mud! But I’ve learnt to embrace it – and therefore I’m welcoming the challenges that come with it.

So lets say in this moment you are totally limitless, free and happy. What would you love to do next?

Jump. I’m pretty sure the fly would be worth it! Growing wings is the best.
