A woman so passionate about the life she lives, is a woman no other than Valeria!

She is a personal trainer and health coach. A wife and mother to the most beautiful boy ever, Orlando, and some how she fits it all into a single day.

I meet Valeria a few years back before she moved to Brisbane. She has an open and inviting energy about her and loves to make the best out of life. She does that by giving of herself 100% to what ever it is that she is doing. It shows through her own success’s and beautiful family. Enjoy meeting her!

Who Is Valeria?

Founder of The Well Nest, Personal Trainer Valeria Ramirez is committed to creating happiness through healthiness. Her holistic approach to health and wellness takes into consideration all aspects of health that reside outside the “energy in, energy out” model used by most trainers.

Through her experience as a Personal Trainer and Holistic Health Coach, Valeria has created a unique program called Six Week Fit Fest that focuses on celebrating health and fitness rather than dreading it. Using elements from Pilates, Yoga, TRX, Boxing, High Intensity Interval Training and Kettlebell Training, each session is a balance of Yin and Yang, focusing opening, strengthening and supporting the female body.

While her girls work extra hard, the focus isn’t about losing rather on gaining strength, mobility, speed, agility and coordination. Each Fit Fest also includes a Nutrition and Self Care workshop that gives her girls all the tools they need to support their commitment and their bodies.

Working with busy CEOs and business owners Valeria saw that most of her clients, despite their best intentions, had no time to prepare the right food to support their health and wellness goals.

This inspired the creating of The Well Nest Kitchen which delivers healthy, wholesome, organic snacks and treats to your door. Valeria juggles both businesses along with being a mama and student, while still finding time to train and look after herself and her family. She believes balance is attainable, it’s about educating

Valeria’s Interview

What does limitless living mean for you?

To me that’s living. No thoughts, labels or limiting beliefs. You are as you were born to be – fearless and free. I do my best to live like that everyday, however some days seem to be more challenging but that’s the beauty of it I guess, you really appreciate those moments when you’re totally going with the flow.

What has been your biggest challenge in life where you were faced with limitation in some way? What supported you to move through it?

My ego has taken me to some pretty scary places. At my worst I was so consumed with fear that I avoided social situation and sometimes even answering the phone. A lot of us spirited folk speak of this profound moment when we hit absolute rock bottom and a voice speaks to us and shows us the way. I guess I had something like that, except it wasn’t a mystical voice, it was Eckhart Tolle. I downloaded a few of his audio books and took up running. I would run and listen to his soothing voice. It was my version of meditation at the time and helped me run my way into a better life.

How often do you follow your intuition/gut feel in life? Why?

I have always had great intuition. Even as child. I never trusted it because I was too afraid. Yep that fear has been hanging around for a while. Learning to trust it was a process. Like learning to swim. I would let go and float with it for a little then return to head based decisions. It’s very natural to me now, especially now that I have a baby. Nothing more powerful than a mother’s intuition.

So what is it that you absolutely love to do in life? Can you describe how you feel and the space you are in when you’re doing it?

I am a giver. I love making other people happy. I do it with my work as a personal trainer and health coach, with my cooking and now with being a mum. I love engaging with people. I’ve spent so much of my life “alone” that it’s nice to step out of the shadows and play in the light.

Do you invest time working on yourself and if so what does this involve? Do you have a mentor?

Absolutely! It started with those Eckart Tolle audio books, and has continued to this day. I read, I listen, I travel, I attend seminars. I don’t have a formal mentor, this is on my to do list. My biggest teacher at the moment is my son Orlando. He has taught me more than he will ever know. I’ve opened an account for him to send him regular emails that I will give to him when he is older.

So lets say in this moment you are totally limitless, free and happy. What would you love to do next?

I want to sink my teeth into setting up the business I imagined and finally get through my notebooks of ideas and make my dreams come true.
