We all have it. We all experience doing this in some form. I am talking about creativity and being creative.

So, why do so many of us put expressing our creativity after doing what we need to do?

To me, being alive is when we allow that creative feeling within us to express itself in life.

It’s bringing that formless energy, which is creativity and love, out into the world of form. What we then call our reality.

When we avoid or neglect to do this in life, we give ourselves away to fear. We live our lives confined by what we believe is possible or not possible.

A lot of us–myself included—have given up on truly believing that we can do only what we love.

Like come on! There is reality, Jamie! You still have to pay the bills and stuff.

Until I started to challenge that voice, follow my heart, and express only what I loved in life, I would keep believing that lie.

I would suppress how I truly felt and, instead, burn inside.

Now that I have had the experiences needed to really know I can do that which I love. That only I am the one that is responsible for what’s possible in my life. Without these experiences, I wouldn’t be sharing what I share.

I wouldn’t be expressing the feeling that moves me, moment by moment.

So, whatever you think is suppressing you from expressing the love you already feel, I hope I’ve encouraged you to get yourself out of the way and truly live now. On the other side of any fear you may be experiencing, I promise, there is a whole new way of being, a fearlessly loving life.
