When I first meet Madeleine, I remember just smiling as she has an infectious energy about her. She pours that into everything she does.

Now Maddy, as I like to call her, lives in London. Over there she is changing the world through one delicious recipe at a time.

Her love is expressed through all things health and wellness. Maddy is an incredible cook. She has a gift for putting simply healthy foods together and creating yummy and delicious meals, that nourish the body.

Maddy believes that with every bit of food we eat, we are influencing how we will look, feel and think. Healthy eating should be a way of living, not just a monthly ‘fad’ or ‘phase.’ That way you will maintain results and reap the benefits all year round!

Her intentions are to make brilliant, healthful food that tastes as amazing as it’s glorious nutritional value. Maddy designs scrumptious, original recipes that are easy to prepare without a professional chef on standby!

She also is extremely interested in the growing rate of IBS worldwide. Her website will also have a major focus on natural and easy ways to lessen the pain with recipes to sooth and nourish your digestive track. Her site will inspire you to fall back in love with life and yourself.

Above all, Maddy says she is about natural, fresh wholefoods that truly nourish your body; She promise’s to inspire and make healthy foods that are incredibly nutritious but delicious

Maddy’s Story

As a young girl I went through quite a torturous relationship with my body, depriving, binging and controlling every morsel. I ate a low/no fat, very boring and highly restricted diet. Although what I felt I ate was deemed healthy I still had dull skin, flaking hair and no energy. I slept all the time and found it hard to concentrate or even sit through a film. It wasn’t one moment in time that made me stop and turn around, it was a long process but I knew deep down that I had to change my destructive ways. Through this lifestyle and way of eating I had developed terrible IBS and had totally lost my periods which triggered me to start to seek out a healthier way of life.

I began reading, learning and actually starting to listen to my body and give it what it needed. I enriched my body with whole foods and found I started to fall back in love with food, life and most importantly myself. That 4pm energy slump was suddenly eliminated, my skin began to glow, calorie counting went out the window and a permanent grin began to appear from ear to ear. It is amazing when you give your body what it really desires, it is the most empowering feeling.

This journey led me to work in an organic café in Sydney (where I was living at the time). I bloomed there. I had never experienced a job that didn’t feel like a job, it was so effortless, it became an expression of me. I learnt so much about the importance of food to our health, mood and general wellbeing. The café was filled with the most amazing people who taught me how to properly prepare, source and cook food. It was then that I knew what my purpose was in life. I started studied nutrition at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition which took a holistic stand point of health and nutrition.

Sydney as a city is such an inspirational place. It makes you really want to take care of your body with the beautiful beaches and an endless summer. Your surroundings are so incredible, you feel inspired to jump out of bed, to catch the sunrise or take a boat out and go deep sea fishing. Eating a wholesome diet enabled me to experience life on another level. I feel like a changed person because of this and that is why I feel so passionate to share it with you and give the world some of this positive nourishment.

Maddy’s Interview

What does limitless living mean for you?

It means having no fear, nothing holding you back and really going for it.

What has been your biggest challenge in life where you were faced with limitation in some way? What supported you to move through it?

When I started of my blog I was scared no one would read it or care. However I realized that so what, I was doing it to share what mattered to me and as long as I did it as best as I can do then I didn’t need to have any fear. So I just stayed true to what I felt and kept going.

How often do you follow your intuition/gut feel in life?

Most days. I often have wobbles but I am very impulsive and the more I go with my gut the easier it becomes to tap into this.

Can you describe the feeling or space you are in when doing what you love?

Effortless, with no concept of time.

How important has it been for you in working on yourself? Did you or do you have a mentor?

No I haven’t found my mentor, maybe I will maybe I won’t. I have been inspired by many people. Infact I take inspiration for most people. I think everyone that touches you is a teacher in some shape or form.

So lets say in this moment you are totally limitless, free and happy. What would you love to do next?

This was a hard question to answer as I recon that this is more of a question of what do I want to do next at this moment than ever. I would love to travel. To go to India and back to Sydney. I’m crafted my future day by day at the moment but will keep you updated when I have a plan.
