Today, I watched a movie called Warrior. The ending had me in tears and feeling something pretty special. If I were to put that into words this is what I would say…
Like a bottomless ocean, there is an energy within me that pushes me through the toughest of challenges. It is an energy that does not care for my story but simply to be felt in each and every moment. It is when I am still and in that one moment that it arises. No longer am I just this body. I am something so much more.
The energy that becomes me is something so great. It’s not something I can say is driven from fear, but only from love. How do I know this? Because, when I am in that moment, I feel there is no separation between my circumstances, and me—whatever the story may be. I feel at one with it all. I feel that, by simply choosing, in that moment, whatever I have to decide to achieve, that it is possible. Not because of the story, but because I have become all things and there is nothing that can stop me.
In each and every moment, we always have choices. It is only when we believe that we are separate, only one part of our circumstances, that we believe choice has been taken away. If you choose to be still, be present, and feel all that is you, then you move through all things. You become one with whatever you once thought was in your way.
The warrior knows this and does not see a fight outside himself. He sees only possibility. He knows that there is no fight but that which we entertain within ourselves by believing we are separate.
If you watch the movie, you will come to see two paths: one driven by fear and the other driven by love. They will both lead you to places in life. But, which one will take you all the way? Which one are you using or reacting to more?
