Living the life you love has a lot to do with simply asking yourself the question: What do you deserve?
The answer is in the observation of your thoughts. Are your thoughts ones of constant worry? Do you always look for what could go wrong? Is bringing your attention to the lack in your life more constant than appreciating the abundance you already have? These are all limiting thoughts.
When I talk to friends, clients, and people that have fulfilling lives, they all seem to have very similar mindsets. They don’t let the above questions take up space. Instead, they are very open to the possibilities.
They know what it is they expect or—more importantly—what they deserve. Their life then becomes a reflection of this.
I know that, in the past, if my mind was taken up with the limiting thoughts, then I seemed to always create situations of limitation. I, then, would buy into the story and try to fix it, change it, or just find some way to break through. This only left me more exhausted. Rather than allowing life to happen effortlessly, it became a struggle of resistance. It’s a feeling of paddling up stream against the current.
It’s not just about those things I went and judged as being limiting and, therefore, bought into the story. It’s also about when I lose myself in the judgments of what is limitless and then buy into such stories. As soon as I have labelled something happening in my life as great ‘because of something’ I, then, in that moment, have placed power outside myself. I have forgotten the truth: Life is me. I am one energy, moving through all things, expressing myself, moment by moment.
These days, I feel the possibilities within me. Then, I expect to see them unfold through me into my reality. How? I never know. I just know that, if I continue to delve deeper into the space, the love that I know I am, that I deserve, incredible expressions of love will unfold before these eyes. I watch myself, in limitless ways, unfold, effortlessly, into this beautiful game we call life.
Do you deserve something similar? Or, has the noise of your doubts and fears taken up space so that your connection with that love has become so small?
