Letting Go Of The Story

Below is a story I shared with my Limitless Living tribe last week through my regular newsletter, I wanted to share it on my blog as a lot of people got some great insights to there own limitations playing out, enjoy!

This past week has been fun for me. I started to observe how I have been saying, “Yes!” to that feeling—rather than buying into the story in some other areas of my life. The incredible things that then unfold to support that feeling have been magic. It’s literally like watching what you thought was impossible, become possible without your awareness of it.

A couple of months ago, I had the option to live alone in my two-bedroom apartment. What I felt was a big “Yes!” I absolutely love my own space and having a home I call my own so I can pour the things I love into that space.

However, if I looked at my story at the time, it wouldn’t have been possible for me to stay in my place alone. It meant paying more than double my rent. I also had to buy a bunch of new furniture.

But, amongst all that the feeling, there was still a big, “Yes!”

Did I feel fear in following the feeling when looking at my story? Yes I did! That wasn’t going to stop me, though. I felt the fear and still stayed true to what I felt.

When we acknowledge the fear but still say, “Yes!” to what we feel we should do, have, or be, we are saying that feeling is more real than our story.

It was such an experience to then watch how, in my story, things formed to support me.

Why did that happen? Because I simply said, “Yes!”

I was saying yes to that infinite part of myself, that one energy that moves through all things. I was not seeing myself as separate. All I had to do was stay open and not get in the way by trying to make things happen. I just kept showing up, moment by moment, for that which I love.

Now, I am enjoying my beautiful home.

I encourage you, this coming week, to start saying, “Yes!” Yes!” to what you would love in your life that looks to be impossible. Say, “Yes!” to following that feeling that moves within you.

If you can avoid buying into the limiting thoughts and, instead, stay present, I have no doubt you, too, will experience some magic!
