You know those moments, when your heart speaks to you, and you feel it? You have that feeling swirl within you. Most of the time, it doesn’t even make sense. You can’t pinpoint why. But, you know that, whatever the scenario, a certain way, a certain decision feels true.

In my life right now, I certainly feel my heart. I feel that, even though changes are unfolding, there is a certainty found when I connect with that feeling. At the same time, when I’m present with it, there is no struggle.

So often we get caught up in what is unfolding in our lives and forget to check in with what we are feeling. This is a natural play of our ego. It survives on our stories, our lives. The ego wants to separate you from the feeling. We catch ourselves trying to work out life or understand why. When we become present and connect to our heart, none of that matters!

I realize everything is unfolding perfectly. It’s only when I separate myself from that feeling and lose myself in the story that I feel the pain. I feel the emotions.

I know, without a doubt, that my heart knows best. Sometimes, I won’t understand it. Sometimes, at first it may feel painful. But, I know that the feeling which moves within me is more real and fulfilling than anything happening in my life. If I can keep remembering this, I will always be free. I will always be loved because that is who I am, Love.

That is why I follow my heart. It’s my guide to my truth, through the illusion we call life.
