If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix it!

So lets just imagine for a moment, that you never were, never could be, never will be, broken or in need of fixing…

Settle down, mind!

It’s probably having a historical fit right now. What do you mean my stories don’t matter? What do you mean my pain and suffering doesn’t need healing?

Well that’s what my mind started to do when I really embraced the question asked for this post: What if there is nothing to fix? What if nothing needs healing?

For so long—maybe forever—we have come to believe that we are here to become someone, to build ourselves up, to work through our issues or to simply become smarter and wiser.

What happens though if, for a moment, if we let all that go?

Suddenly, I find stillness. Nothing needs to be said. There are no more labels or things I need to do or be. I feel free to simply be me.

What is this I’m feeling? Well it feels like connection. It feels like space. It feels like home.

That is where I feel we all deserve to live from, in each and every moment. Furthermore, I have started to realise that there is nothing more for me to do. My stories of yesterday—or even the ones to come—don’t matter at all. They aren’t even real. They are just distant illusions of thoughts in moments past experienced or ones to come.

In this space I was feeling, none of that truly mattered.

What I am describing is presence. It is a total connection to who we truly are: our infinite self. There are no labels, judgments, or attachments when we are in this space. We are not identifying with who we think we are, our identity. We are not listening to the thoughts inside that noisy head of ours. We are feeling into our heart and soul.

I don’t believe I need any tools, healing, or instructions to get there. I am already there! I just have to remember this in each moment. It’s then that, instead of an idea, living limitlessly becomes a way of life. When I am in the here and now, I am free and limitless in my potential. Everything is possible. I am open, trusting, certain, and all knowing of myself.

If you, too,  believe that who we truly are is one infinite energy—not this body, my story, my thoughts—then maybe, like me, you will realise that there is nothing to fix. How can something that is infinite need anything? How can something this infinite need to heal or fix itself? I am already healed. I am already whole and complete. I am infinite.

When we forget this, we experience our pain. Instead of experiencing our infinite self through this body and all that is, we instead believe what we can see, touch, smell, hear, and taste as opposed to what’s more real.

It’s in this separation from the truth of who we are that we enter duality. We believe our stories. More importantly, we bring our experiences, our emotions, and charges with us into this moment which take us right back out.

When I noticed this, I started to dive into these emotions and charges. I embraced them rather than separating myself from them. Then, it’s like that emotion or charge melted back into the space. I had a deeper connection, a more ever lasting knowing of myself as that one energy. My identity took a hit and lost a bit of the power I had given it.

I know that, in this space, there is no fear, no hate, no guilt, no nothing! In this space the whole of humanity can live freely and needlessly, side by side, with love, in love.

I will never stop practicing and living this. Trusting the formless feeling that moves through me. If I can, so can you and all our brothers and sisters around this world. We will awaken to the truth and only see love in all that is, because no matter where we look we will see only ourselves as that one energy.

A newborn baby  knows this truth, having just come into this world of form. You can feel the truth within them because they haven’t had time to forget yet, like we have.

Take time to stop, feel, and remember today, and do it with all my love, one love.
