Today I came across this awesome you tube clip about Clark Little, he is a famous professional photographer, that never intended to be one.

What Clark shares in this clip is so profound and sums up a large part of how I support clients to live. What he shares is very similar to how I also found myself doing what I do today, minus the four lip monster shorey smacking him around. Listen to his words from the beginning of his clip.

These are some of the main reasons I love what Clark shares:

1. He had no plan what so ever 
2. His attention wasn’t on a specific outcome or a result
3. He was only doing what he loved

One of the other things I love, are the questions he mentions that people ask in trying to replicate what he did… Why? Because this shows the biggest trap of all.

We give up being unique in the hope of following in someone else’s foot steps or achieving a certain result or outcome…

Just be yourself and forget the rest. Sounds simple but 90% of us will never allow ourselves the space to simply be ourselves.
