Why Living For Love Will Challenge You

I had a quote pop up the other day: Living for Love is living without reason.

My mind reacted with a WTF?! But, then I felt the space behind what just came to me. It was something so powerful and freeing, yet confronting to the mind.

We all talk about love. It’s a big topic these days. Love gets wrapped up into being positive and awesome about life itself. Apparently, love is something we find on social media, through positive quotes, images, and the like.

The only thing is: Love is also the negative. It’s the bad, ugly, and utterly no good in life. It’s in all the things we judge and our own addictions to what we can take from life.

We have been taught that love is something we get from life. Apparently, it looks a certain way. It looks like a happy relationship, a successful career, a hot body, and/or having lots of money. This is how we have been conditioned to weigh up the amount of love in our life.

So, to make sure we have all these good things that help weigh in the love factor of our lives, we have been taught to suppress what is apparently not love: The moments we fall apart, the times we fight with our lover, the losing our jobs, or failing of our business, or the chasing of our next dollar because we may not have Scrooge McDuck’s infinite pool of money yet.

Love is all there is. All else is your judgment of what is ~ Amir Zoghi

The concept of simply just being okay in this moment with ourselves—for no reason at all—is something so far out there. Who we think we are according to all those things has become so much more important.

This is why we rarely live in the moment. We become consumed and addicted to ensuring we are loved by the standards we have allowed to set upon ourselves. We look for love in everything external, tricking ourselves into thinking we don’t already have that which we seek.

I have to ask: When that day comes, how much of all those things that weighed up love in life will you own?

Your answer will suggest why living without reason is the most powerful way to free yourself. Then, you can live for love, in this moment, not the next.

Looking to truly know yourself in this moment. Then you must be ready to be raw, honest and truthful with yourself so you can live life to the fullest now. Lets chat about how I can support you SCHEDULE CHAT
