You know that feeling when you see someone you love? They walk towards you, your arms and chest open towards them as they land upon your body, and you hold them there. It’s an embrace that brings warmth to each of you.

I love that feeling! It feels like home. It feels like I’m nowhere else but here.

This is how I practice living my life: Staying open and embracing everything that is. It’s crazy the way things unfold for me when I remember to do this. It’s only when I close myself off to life that I find my mind come racing in. I find myself stuck in the way of the incredible journey that is this moment.

The only time I forget is when I have tried to control or placed power in something by judging or labeling it. In those moments, I forget it’s just myself that I am embracing. Instead of being with what is unfolding, I see myself as separate and, therefore, closed off.

To be limitless is to realize that there is just me, me as one energy playing through limitless roles, things, and circumstances. Remembering this is what gives me the experience of truly living. I’m alive, free. There are no limitations except those I create.
